BAPTISM

WE HAD A BAPTISM YESTERDAY OF KAREN ESTEFANY REBOLLEDO VALLEJOS. SHE IS AWESOME AND IS JUST AS HAPPY AS ME AND MY COMP ARE THAT SHE GOT BAPTIZED, BUT MOST OF ALL SHE KNOWS THAT SHE DID THE RIGHT THING. MORE BLESSINGS FROM OUR HEAVENLY FATHER!!!!

GOT ANOTHER PACKAGE, EXCEPT THIS TIME I ALMOST HIRED A TAXI TO TAKE IT HOME CAUSE IT WAS SO DARN HEAVY!!!!!!!! Daniel Espinoza

Daniel is a convert of mine. he got baptized in the beginning of february. he has stomach cancer, we have come really close, he is awesome we went on saturday to his house and he had a TIUGHT gift for me. when he was 15 he had found a book of mormon at an abandoned house,he says he had been reading it year before i was born but never looked for the missionaries till we showed up at his house. he dedicated the book for me and gave it to me. the book is about 50 years old. iam pretty stoked he is awesome; this just surprised me cause he had been reading the book years before i came and this shows how god just prepares people to listen to his gospel.

CHOPPING ON SOME WOOD

WINTE IS HERE AND ALOT OF OLD PEOPLE IN THE TOWN ARE ASKING US TO CHOP THEIR WOOD FOR THE WINTER. MY HAND ARE FULL OF BLISTERS BUT ITS OKAY. THEY ARE HAPPY AND SOME ARE LISTENING TO US CAUSE OF THE SERVICE WE ARE DOING!!!!

Clean up, Clean up Everybody Everywhere!!!!

so President Chavez´s Wife was going to check our houses this last wednesday, we cleaned up really well. but when we saw her she said: ¨elders i wont go to your house cause your sector is to far away¨ i guess its good. but i was sad cause then no one would see how good of a job we did. so i just figured i post it on the blog!!! ( y si mama ya puedo limpiar todo y lo dejo cheke fijese!!!!) como le pela el ojo ñeco?

WEDDING BELLS!!!!

THIS WEEK WE DIDNT HAVE ANY BAPTISMS, BUT WITH MY LAST COMP, ELDER FIGUEROA WE WHERE WORKING HARD TO GET THIS COUPLE MARRIED, IT TOOK A COUPLE OF MONTHS BUT HERE IT IS, THEY GOT MARRIED TODAY MORNING, WE WHERE ALL VERY HAPPY, CAUSE NOW THEY CAN GET BAPTIZED!!!!! HE WAS A BIT NERVOUS!!!!

EMPANADAS

On Saturday night we went to HNA GLADYS house and she taught us how to make empanadas, it takes quite a while to be able to make them. they have onions, (something that i had to learn to eat in the mission) they eat alot of onions here. here are some pics of us making them and then while we where eating.

BAPTISM

YESTERDAY WE HAD ANOTHER BAPTISM, CRISTINA MESA GOT BAPTIZED WE STARTED TEACHING HER ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO, SHE IS GOLD SHE UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING AND JUST BASICALLY DID EVERYTHING HERSELF!!! WE WHERE JUST BLESSED TO BE THERE AT THE RIGHT TIME!!! ALFREDO BAPTIZED HER SINCE HE HAS BEEN COMING WITH US TO EVERY LESSON.

WE are helping panchita fix her house with small details, he have built her a bathroom, changed her doors, and also her walls. she always offers us money, so we accept it but them we sneak it back into her wallet with out her noticing, but she caught us this week!!!! she was mad!!!! so i explained to her that it was service and that us as missionary cant accept money. she understood, now she pays us with this:

1. BLOOD SAUSAGE WITH ONIONS. HAHA

SERVICE

we did some service this last week, painted a house, and also fixed hermana PANCHAS!!! (my fave 99 year old lady in the whole world) we fixed her house she loved it, although it was a crappy job, but hey she is 99 she cant tell the difference. WE DID DO OUR BEST THOUGH.

Full of Corpses

Yesterday we had our zone leaders come over, E hansen, E fong, they couldnt catch their bus so they stayed over and slept out our place. they made sure to remind me that i was sorounded my dead missionary corpses. E hansen is done today!!! E Guevara my comp is done next month and E fong is done in may. and iam done in WELL LETS NOT SAY IT!!! it stunk like dead missionaries!!!

WHY DO YOUR BEANS STINK???

i went to one of our converts house and cooked some of the beans my parents sent me hahaha, with some eggs and cheese, they didnt like them AT ALL, i fried the beans and they hated the smell that the cheese that came along with them gave out when fried hahaha, me and my comp just enjoyed all of them hahaha, they said we ate weird things in my country, (but i guess eating pig brain like ham isnt weird?)
